The recommended adult dose is two capsules twice daily (with meals).

Pregnant women can take fish oil, but after consulting a doctor, to avoid an overdose of vitamin A. Do not use cod liver oil when taking other drugs with vitamin A and D and anticoagulants. People suffering from kidney stones and hyperglycemia should also avoid cod liver oil
