If you have more free time than usual due to a pandemic, use it to cleanse your body. Now is the right time for this.

In the modern world, it is impossible to protect yourself from harmful substances such as preservatives or pesticides. When they accumulate, the body does not keep pace with their removal. Therefore, at least once a year, it is worth supporting and conducting so-called detox. We present some suggestions, but be sure to consult your doctor or nutritionist before starting each of these procedures.

Cereal diet

Thoroughly rinse a glass with wheat grains, pour three glasses of water and cook covered for two hours. Eat 4–5 servings throughout the day. Add sprouts and parsley to them – thanks to this, you will make up for the lack of vitamins. You can replace buckwheat, pearl barley, rice or natural cereal. Drink plenty of mineral water and herbal teas during detoxification. The cereal diet cannot last more than 12 days.

Lemon diet

Includes the use of lemon juice (freshly squeezed) before the main meal according to the following scheme: day 1 and 10 – juice from 1 lemon; days 2 and 9 – with 2 lemons; 3 and 8 day – with 3 lemons; day 4 and 7. – with 4 lemons; day 5 and 6 – with 5 lemons. All dishes should be easily digestible. Drink herbal teas and mineral water between them. Dried fruits, raw vegetables, sunflower and pumpkin seeds, and bananas are also allowed. You can use the relaxed form of this diet: drink 1 lemon juice mixed with a glass of water on an empty stomach. During the day, exclude one meal from the menu and replace it with another glass of lemon water.

Plum diet

In the evening, pour 10 dried plums into boiling water, let stand for the night. In the morning on an empty stomach, drink water and eat plums. Pour 10 plums with boiling water and set aside until the evening. Before going to bed, drink water and eat fruit. During the diet, eat a lot of vegetables and fruits, low-fat meat, fish, cereals and dairy products. Use the treatment for 10 days.

Kefir diet

If a cleansing diet for over a week is too much for you, try a three-day diet. On the first day, drink 2 liters of kefir – divide them into 6 servings. During the day, eat crackers from one slice of dark bread, drink mineral water and dried fruit compote.

On the second day, drink mostly fruit juices, eat some vegetables (preferably fresh) and croutons from pieces of dark bread. On the third day of treatment, eat boiled vegetables (you can make soup from them) in five portions. To each serving of vegetables, add the toast from a slice of dark bread again. Warning! Set aside coffee, strong tea and alcohol for the duration of the treatment!

Apple diet

Good results are also brought by a one-day cleansing diet, which consists of eating apples in any quantity. During this time, drink a lot of water and infusions from herbs – you need to take 2–3 liters of liquid. Do not use this diet more than once a month.

Nettle, if for health reasons you cannot afford a diet, or you have too little desire to stick to it, do nettle infusions. They will also help you cleanse yourself of unnecessary waste – provided that you drink it regularly.
