Even for these reasons, so many cosmetics available in stores contain lavender. As an alternative, you can buy a regular cream and add several points of lavender oil to it. After applying to your face, you will receive a homemade, soothing cleansing cream. How to make lavender essential oil? To make lavender oil, you will need:

  •  fresh plant flowers
  •  Linseed oil or, sweet almond oil.

Method of preparation: heat linseed oil or sweet almond oil in a saucepan. Put the flowers in a jar and fill with warm oil. Close the container tightly and store it in a shaded place. Shake the jar every day. After a month, strain through a sieve. Lavender oil is ready to eat.

Peppermint essential oil

  • Fresh pine needles,
  • pure alcohol – preferably 80%

Method of preparation: rub needles – preferably in a mortar and put in a dish. Then pour alcohol on them and set aside in a shaded place. Shake regularly, preferably daily. After about thirty days, drain the contents of the dish. Pour the remaining oil into a glass bottle. Use it for refreshing purposes and, of course, as a washing additive that will allow you to get rid of the musty smell.
