Irrespective of, we have a hanger or not, for our tires optimal storage conditions have to be provided: constant and moderate temperature in the range from -5 °C to +25 °C, humidity of air isn’t higher than 70%, lack of direct sunshine and absence near heat sources, such as heaters or furnaces. Tires also should be stored far from the oil products and substances emitting ozone.
How to store only auto tires?
Tires without disks are much more subject to deformation, therefore placement them on one side or suspension on hooks – guarantee of vibration and difficulties with balancing. A widespread case which curing workshops should face are the tires compressed under body weight so strongly that then it is difficult to pull them on a rim. The best decision for tires without disks, the placement of them will be in vertical position. The washed-up and cleaned tires have to serve easily in such situation till the next season. If we want to be even more preventive, we can turn them on 90 °C each several weeks — it will allow distributing evenly pressure on all circle of a wheel.

Storage conditions, such as temperature and the recommended humidity of air, differ in nothing from above-mentioned recommendations for full wheels. If we put tires on identical disks, then we by all means use services of a workshop which will wash and check a condition of our tires for us, including the price of service in replacement. Thanks to it, we will be sure that in the next season you will surprise us with nothing at assembly.

Regardless of whether we will use this service or we will take tires, it is always worth visiting the expert after a season and to check a condition of our wheels.
