It is quite difficult to argue with the culinary choice of our grandmothers. Not only do they usually guarantee 100% flavor, but they also offer a solid dose of health and a powerful dose of positive energy. The same goes for their favorite blackcurrant juice. Achieving this often and willingly, they naturally protected their heart, perfectly strengthened their immunity or vision, and removed all toxins - the biggest poisoners in the body. It is also worth adding that they enjoyed the perfect flavor without providing extra calories. Curious? There are at least a few dozen reasons for consuming nutritious blackcurrant juice, but you can read about that below.

It's worth noting that just a handful of blackcurrant fruits provide twice the vitamin C we need every day.
Blackcurrant juice is also an injection of vitamins A, E, group B and potassium, calcium, magnesium, phosphorus and iron. With all these benefits, it is relatively low in calories.

How to make blackcurrant juice at home?

Of course, you can buy blackcurrant juice at any well-stocked grocery store, but you can also make it at home as well. Treatment does not require unnecessary culinary stucco molding. All you have to do is carefully peel the leaves of the berries and crush them. Then cook them in a saucepan, sprinkled with sugar first. Finally, pass all the contents through a sieve. Pour the prepared juice into glass bottles.
If you have a screw juicer, you have a much easier task. All you need to do is wash and dry the black currant thoroughly, and then, without removing the peel, toss them into the machine. After the process, you will get pure juice. Cook it with sugar to keep it from spoiling. Don't overdo juicing or you will lose a hefty dose of valuable vitamin C.
